AMERICOT ADDS NEW SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST TEAM MEMBERS

Americot, Inc., a leading supplier of premium cotton seed, is pleased to announce the addition of three new customer sales and operations staff members in the Southwest and Southeast regions.“As Americot continues to grow and expand, bringing on new customer support team members like Jordan, Tyler and Adam ensures that we keep our commitment to cotton growers throughout the Cotton Belt, providing the greatest support and highest-quality products and people,” said Chiree Fields, Americot general manager.

Jordan Clem is a Texas native and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He has spent the last three years working at Sanders in Brownfield, Texas as a sales rep. Prior to that, Jordan was with the family farm. Based in the New Home, Texas area, he joins Americot as a sales representative, supporting customers and growers in the South Plains region.

Tyler Law graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. Upon graduation, began his professional career in the grain purchasing and merchandising business in Illinois and Indiana. Tyler then spent five years as a sales representative for Meherrin Ag & Chemical in South Carolina, and most recently with Monsanto in seed treatment sales. Based in Beaufort, South Carolina, Tyler joins Americot as a sales representative in our Southeast region, supporting growers and customers in southwestern South Carolina.

Adam Shannon graduated from Auburn University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Economics, with a minor in Agronomy. He has been involved in agriculture in Alabama for the last 15 years, holding sales and management positions within the Agri-AFC system, as well as serving as a sales representative for Progeny seed. Adam also operates a family farm; growing cotton, corn, wheat and beans. He joins Americot as a regional manager, supporting customers and growers in the Alabama and the Florida Panhandle areas of Americot’s newly-split Southeast region.
